Topic : PROVEN TO BE INNOCENT!

Praise the Lord! I served 11 years in prison and was shown to be innocent.  GOD IS GOOD! No one can imagine the torture a person goes through who is truly innocent and falsely imprisoned.  I have every right to  be be bitter, but PRAISE GOD I CHOOSE NOT TO!  Our Father gives us a choice to live in torment or to live in peace.  Have faith in God and the blood of Jesus....and all will be well.

I would like to ask for a prayer of agreement for the  success of a ministry I am starting to minister to veterans who have been wrongfully convicted of crimes.  I served 11 years in  prison for a crime the State of Texas admitted I did not commit.  I received no compensation for this  injustice and it is in my heart to help protect others from the same treatment.  I am asking also that all veterans who read this pray concerning their brother and sisters who are currently imprisoned.  I will welcome any and all calls from  those interested in praying for and  assisting in this ministry.  thank you and may God bless you all. JESUS IS LORD!  409-499-9425.

Topic : Believe for God's healing power for Cancer Patients

If you can, I’d like to put a call out on your pray chain(s) for cancer patients. I have three people near and dear to me that are all battling cancer at this time. The first is Denise from Girl Scouts. She has been diagnosed with Breast Cancer. She has had a lumpectomy, and will begin chemo on Monday. She is strong in her faith, and has family support, … but could use the additional prayers at this time. She has four children, the two youngest are in high school. The second is Ruth, who is a co-worker. She has been battling cancer for several months, having had her blatter removed just days before Christmas. We have recently discovered that the cancer has spread to her lymph nodes, and the diagnosis is not good. At this time, they are projecting five months. She is very comfortable with her faith, and seems at peace with this. For her, I would like to pray for comfort and peace in her time remaining, The third is Caroline, another Girl Scout friend. She was just diagnosed today with lymphoma. They don’t know the stage as yet, … but as we all know, this is a serious issue. Prayers for all are much appreciated. Thanks, and God Bless!

Topic : The Lord is our Strength ........

The Lord is my strength and my shield;
My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped;
Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And
with my song I will praise Him.

             ( Psalms 28:7 *NKJV )

Those are the words of King David, but they hold
true for us today as well!  For it is written
;
He gives
power to the weak And to those who have
no might He increases strength.
                                        (Isaiah 40:29)

We also have God's Promise that;
When you pass
through the waters, I will be with you; And
through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.
When you walk through the fire, you shall not
be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.
( Isaiah 43:2 )
For;
The righteous is delivered
from trouble And it comes to the wicked
instead.
( Proverbs 11:8 )

Therefore  when you are feeling weak or having
problems, and are in need of help
;
Cast your burden on
the Lord , And He shall sustain you He shall never
permit the righteous to be moved.
For;
As for God,
His way is perfect; The word of the Lord is proven
He is a shield to all who trust in Him.   Amen.
      ( Psalms 55:22 )     &      ( 2 Samuel 22:31)

Blessed are the peacemakers,for they
will be called sons of God.

( Matthew 5:9 *NIV )

Now everytime I read that verse I think of a magnificent
prayer that hangs on the wall over my computer.  It also
reminds me of the words of our Savior Jesus Christ, for He
 said;
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give
you. I do not give to you as the world gives.
Do not let your hearts be troubled and do
not be afraid.
( John 14:27 )

Therefore I pray that; The peace of God, which
transcends all understanding, will guard your
hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus,
and
make you an instrument of God's Peace as well!

Now I will share with you the magnificent prayer
that I mentioned.  It is called the:

Prayer of St. Francis of Assisi

Lord, make me an instrument of your Peace!
Where there is hatred -let me sow love,
          Where there is injury-pardon,
          Where there is doubt-faith,
          Where there is despair-hope,
          Where there is darkness-light,
          Where there is sadness-joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so
much seek to be consoled-as to console,
          To be understood-as to understand,
          To be loved-as to love,
For it is in giving-that we receive,
It is in pardoning-that we are pardoned,
It is in dying-that we are born to Eternal Life.

THE OLD PHONE ON THE WALL
When James was quite young, his father had one of the first telephones in our neighborhood. He remembers the polished, old case fastened to the wall. The shiny receiver hung on the side of the box. He was too little to reach the telephone, but used to listen with fascination when his mother talked to it.
JAMES:Then I discovered that somewhere inside the wonderful device lived an amazing person. Her name was 'Information Please' and there was nothing she did not know. Information Please could supply anyone's number and the correct time.
My personal experience with the genie-in-a-bottle came one day while my mother was visiting a neighbor. Amusing myself at the tool bench in the basement, I whacked my finger with a hammer, the pain was terrible, but there seemed no point in crying because there was no one home to give sympathy.
I walked around the house sucking my throbbing finger, finally arriving at the stairway. The telephone! Quickly, I ran for the footstool in the parlor and dragged it to the landing. Climbing up, I unhooked the receiver in the parlor and held it to my ear. 'Information, please' I said into the mouthpiece just above my head.
A click or two and a small clear voice spoke into my ear.
'Information.'
'I hurt my finger...' I wailed into the phone, the tears came readily enough now that I had an audience.
'Isn't your mother home?' came the question.
'Nobody's home but me,' I blubbered.
'Are you bleeding?' the voice asked.
'No,' I replied. 'I hit my finger with the hammer and it hurts.'
'Can you open the icebox?' she asked.
I said I could.
'Then chip off a little bit of ice and hold it to your finger,' said the voice.
After that, I called 'Information Please' for everything. I asked her for help with my geography, and she told me where Philadelphia was. She helped me with my math.
She told me my pet chipmunk that I had caught in the park just the day before, would eat fruit and nuts.
Then, there was the time Petey, our pet canary, died. I called,
Information Please,' and told her the sad story. She listened, and then said things grown-ups say to soothe a child. But I was not consoled. I asked her, 'Why is it that birds should sing so beautifully and bring joy to all families, only to end up as a heap of feathers on the bottom of a cage?'
She must have sensed my deep concern, for she said quietly, 'James, always remember that there are other worlds to sing in.'
Somehow I felt better.
Another day I was on the telephone, 'Information Please.'
'Information,' said in the now familiar voice. 'How do I spell fix?' I asked.
All this took place in a small town in the Pacific Northwest. When I was nine years old, we moved across the country to Boston. I missed my friend very much. 'Information Please'  belonged in that old wooden box back home and I somehow never thought of trying the shiny new phone that sat on the table in the hall. As I grew into my teens, the memories of those childhood conversations never really left me..

Often, in moments of doubt and perplexity I would recall the serene sense of security I had then. I appreciated now how patient, understanding, and kind she was to have spent her time on a little boy.
A few years later, on my way west to college, my plane put down in Seattle. I had about a half-hour or so between planes. I spent 15 minutes or so on the phone with my sister, who lived there now. Then without thinking what I was doing, I dialed my hometown operator and said, 'Information Please.'
Miraculously, I heard the small, clear voice I knew so well.
'Information.'
I hadn't planned this, but I heard myself saying, 'Could you please tell me how to spell fix?'
There was a long pause. Then came the soft spoken answer, 'I guess your finger must have healed by now.'
I laughed, 'So it's really you,' I said. 'I wonder if you have any idea how much you meant to me during that time?'
''I wonder,' she said, ''if you know how much your call meant to me.
I never had any children and I used to look forward to your calls.'
I told her how often I had thought of her over the years and I asked if I could call her again when I came back to visit my sister.
'Please do', she said. 'Just ask for Sally.'
Three months later I was back in Seattle.. A different voice answered,
'Information.' I asked for Sally.
'Are you a friend?' she said.
'Yes, a very old friend,' I answered.
'I'm sorry to have to tell you this,' she said. 'Sally had been working part-time the last few years because she was sick. She died five weeks ago.'
Before I could hang up she said, 'Wait a minute, did you say your name was James?'
'Yes.' I answered.
'Well, Sally left a message for you.. She wrote it down in case you called.
Let me read it to you.'
The note said, 'Tell him there are other worlds to sing in.
He'll know what I mean.'
I thanked her and hung up. I knew what Sally meant.
Never underestimate the impression you may make on others.
Whose life have you touched today?
Lifting you on eagle's wings. May you find the joy and peace you long for.
Life is a journey ... NOT a guided tour.
I loved this story and just had to pass  it on. I hope you enjoy it and get a blessing!

Huie for group godsembrace

God's healing power is yours for the taking!  His will is for your perfect health and well-being.  Anything that comes against you is subject to change.  As you speak these scriptures daily in faith, the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus will be activated in your body.  The medicine of God's Word will go to work to effect a healing and a cure.  Remember, by His stripes you were healed.

Receiving the Word or acting on the Word comes by being diligent.  If you need healing in your body, look up the following verses and read them aloud daily.  Refuse to give in to doubt and unbelief.  If you must doubt, then doubt the doubt.  And remember, God's Word works!

And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Thessalonians 5:23, King James Version).

And may the God of peace Himself sanctify you through and through [separate you from profane things, make you pure and wholly consecrated to God]; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved sound and complete [and found] blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) (1Thessaloniams 5:23, The Amplified Bible).

May the God of peace make you hold through and through.  May you be kept in soul and mind and body in spotless integrity until the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Thessalonians 5:23, J.B. Phillips Translation of the New Testament).

Healing Scriptures

(Read these aloud daily and only believe.  Trust God for your healing!)

BRENDA for everyone

The deepest principle of human nature is the craving to be appreciated.
- William James (1842-1910)

One Minute

He almost killed somebody, but one minute changed his life.

This beautiful story comes from Sherman Rogers' old book, "Foremen: Leaders or Drivers?"

In his true-life story, Rogers illustrates the importance of effective relationships. During his college years, Rogers spent a summer in an Idaho logging camp. When the superintendent had to leave for a few days, he put Rogers in charge.

"What if the men refuse to follow my orders?" Rogers asked. He thought of Tony, an immigrant worker who grumbled and growled all day, giving the other men a hard time.

"Fire them," the superintendent said. Then, as if reading Rogers' mind, he added, "I suppose you think you are going to fire Tony if you get the chance. I'd feel badly about that. I have been logging for 40 years. Tony is the most reliable worker I've ever had. I know he is a grouch and that he hates everybody and everything. But he comes in first and leaves last. There has not been an accident for eight years on the hill where he works."

Rogers took over the next day. He went to Tony and spoke to him.

"Tony, do you know I'm in charge here today?" Tony grunted. "I was going to fire you the first time we tangled, but I want you to know I'm not," he told Tony, adding what the superintendent had said.

When he finished, Tony dropped the shovelful of sand he had held and tears streamed down his face.

"Why he no tell me dat eight years ago?"

That day Tony worked harder than ever before -- and he smiled! He later said to Rogers, "I told Maria you first foreman in deese country who ever say, 'Good work, Tony,' and it make Maria feel like Christmas."

Rogers went back to school after that summer. Twelve years later he met Tony again who was now superintendent for railroad construction for one of the largest logging companies in the West. Rogers asked him how he came to California and happened to have such success.

Tony replied, "If it not be for the one minute you talk to me back in Idaho, I keel somebody someday. One minute change my whole life."

Effective managers know the importance of taking a moment to point out what a worker is doing well. But what a difference a minute of affirmation can make in any relationship!

One minute.

Have you got one minute to thank someone? A minute to tell someone what you sincerely like or appreciate about her?
A minute to elaborate on something he did well? One minute.

It can make a difference for a lifetime.

We visited Tina, Brad, and baby Luke in Pittsburgh today. No real change. They have a POSSIBLE diagnosis.
Mitochondrial Disease is a rare disease with no cure. It has to do with how cells convert fuel into energy. In Luke's case there may be a problem where fuel is not completely converted to energy and producing a poison (acid) Anytime nutrients are digested, there is more poison created. They may have a more complete diagnosis Wednesday or Thursday.
On our way home from Children's Hospital, we received a call that our Grandmother had what appears to be a stoke and is in our local Hospital. She can open her eyes, but cant communicate and does not recognize anyone.
Please keep us and our grandparents in your prayers. (Ray & Betty Sanner) I pray that we are all strong enough to accept His will.
I am praying for you too, Susan!

Jennie and I visited Brad and Tina in the hospital on Monday. I had never been in a pediatric ICU. It broke my heart. I complain about the most trivial and stupid things in comparison. So many kids and babies that really know the value of life...

Little Luke is on seizure medicine and he hasn't had one since. (good news) They have discovered he has cysts on his brain and need to take him off the medication to try to figure out what is causing them...Scary thoughts for Tina and Brad seeing that they had to revive him the last time he had one. They are supposed to be meeting with the neurologist and receiving additional test results today. I will keep you updated as we learn more.

Your prayers are so appreciated and are still needed!

Some of His disciples said to one another, "What does He mean by saying, `In a little while you will see Me no more, and then after a little while you will see Me.' and `Because I am going to the Father'?"- John 16:17

By Floyd Ray Gage

The disciples did what so many of us are still doing today. They were confused and didn't understand what the Lord was saying or doing. They had ready access to the Lord to ask Him to clarify, but they instead were stirred up and asking one another about things that none of them understood.

When we are confused and don't understand, we have a tendency to get stirred up and go to those that are confused and don't understand as well. This gets us into a frenzy and gets us even more confused and then we never really find the answer to our original question. In fact, many times we forget what our original question was and are left only with a faith that has been shaken by constant questioning and no waiting to find the answer.

We have ready access to the Lord, just as the disciples did. Of course, it is not exactly the same. They could go to flesh and blood Jesus and ask Him questions. We can't go to the flesh and blood Jesus, yet, but we can go into His presence through prayer and we can read His Word to find the answer.

We will so often not go to the Lord in prayer or go to the Word in prayer until we have exhausted all other avenues.    It continues to surprise me how many children of God will go to the none Christian world's of philosophy and science to find the answers to questions that these institutions are not equipped to answer. We get all worked up and make more questions that can't be answered by man. Only after we are thoroughly confused and have confused many others do we finally, sometimes go to God's Word.

Many don't feel that the Word or the Lord are practical enough. The things the Lord tells us are things that were for the people in Bible days. Our Lord has surely changed with the times, right? Again, we must go to the Word. The Word tells us that Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. It doesn't matter how culture changes or the mores of men change. God and Christ stay the same.

Many say that they are confused by the Bible and can't understand it. It is true that some parts of the Bible are hard to understand, if you don't look at the whole counsel of God's Word. When we are confused by a passage of Scripture, we must go to the Lord in prayer and look for other passages that can shed light on that passage. It is called the "analogy of faith." We use parts of the Bible we can understand to help us understand parts that are difficult. We also must understand that Bible study and reading is a spiritual exercise and not just a physical exercise. We must go to the Lord in prayers and seek His guidance to understand His Word.

The disciples couldn't grasp that Jesus was talking to them about the divine plan of the cross and His resurrection. Those events had not happened yet. They were beyond their experience. When science can't explain something and man's philosophy can't understand it, we must go to God to understand it. When our experience comes up short, we must trust the eternal truth of our Lord and His Word.  Are we truly children of God? Do we truly believe that the Bible is His Word? Then we must treat the Bible as our guide book for life and as our source of wisdom and instruction. We must start going to God in prayer and His Word in faith first. We must base our lives and our decisions upon these two things. We must judge science and philosophy by the Word and not the other way around. We must stand on God's truth!

The Greatest Love Of All

God gave us birth and created all
No one on Earth is meaningless or too small
I love our Lord Jesus who taught us love
God has always loved us and sent His Son from above

Our precious Lord Jesus is our true Valentine
Jesus is for everyone He is not just mine
His works are written In Matthew, Mark, Luke and John
Our Bible holds life's lessons, and we create a bond

We ask for guidance and trust with all our heart
Every one of us has a purpose and even a part
Love, peace and harmony is what we all desire
Happiness, joy and fun of these we never tire

Thank you Lord Jesus for my life and love.

Thank you for posting this prayer request. This is an extreme need, and I am so thankful that we serve an extreme God. One who is not bound by what is humanly possible, but one through whom all things are possible. Believing in a miracle for little Luke. Jesus be with him and heal him, and please cover that family in Your healing comfort. This baby, this family, is in need of a mighty miracle from a mighty God, we are believing for nothing less.

In Jesus name, Amen

*May we all be especially thankful for the healthy children in our own lives.
