Arrow McLaren team principal and 2013 Indianapolis 500 winner Tony Kanaan is set to race in the 2025 Goodwood Revival Royal Automobile Club (RAC) TT Celebration.
The Brazilian will take to the wheel of a 1961 Jaguar E-type 'semi-lightweight', which was previously raced at the prestigious event by Bruce McLaren. In addition to the Royal Automobile Club TT Celebration, Kanaan will take part in the St Mary's Trophy in a Ford Zodiac, racing against the likes of seven-time NASCAR Cup champion Jimmie Johnson and fellow IndyCar drivers Dario Franchitti and Scott Dixon.
“I am really looking forward to racing in the RAC TT Celebration and the St Mary’s Trophy - my very first time competing at the Goodwood Revival! I can’t wait to take to the track alongside my fellow IndyCar drivers," Kanaan explained.
"Every year, we are privileged to welcome some of the world’s greatest drivers and riders to the Goodwood Revival," the Duke of Richmond commented. "Drawing on experience from across the breadth of motorsport, these competitors turn their skill and passion to historic racing, often facing rivals they’d never otherwise meet on the track. I’m grateful to them for taking the time to join us over the weekend and look forward to seeing them in action.”

This comes after Goodwood confirmed that 1997 Formula 1 champion Jacques Villeneuve will also take part in the event. The Canadian driver will race a 1963 AC Cobra in the Royal Automobile Club TT Celebration.
“I am very excited to be participating in the RAC TT Celebration," Villeneuve said. "It was very frustrating seeing all my pals having fun racing it out last year while I was sitting watching. Driving the Cobra on such a fun track will be an exceptional moment, can’t wait!”
The 2025 Goodwood Revival will take place on 12-14 September.
